Here Comes Fall, Y’all!

Back-to-School Getaway
Christmas is Coming!

Yes, it’s that time of year that I love so much . . . FALL!!

Things are a little quieter around Branson during this time of year, which makes it one of the best times to visit.  Most of the family attractions are still open with full schedules on the weekends, so there is plenty for your family to do!

Here are some of my favorite “can’t miss” things to do in Branson this fall:

1)  GO-KARTING!  Yes, I know this is not a surprise.  But, it is still a great activity to enjoy with your family!  Be sure to check out the operating schedule to see which tracks are open on the days you plan to visit.  And, check out this great special . . . the Happy Fall Y’all Card, which gets you four rides or rounds on any attraction for $26 . . . that’s up to 30% off the retail price!  This card can be used for wooden high-rise and classic go-kart tracks, bumper boats / cars, laser tag, or mini golf.

2)  FALL FOOD!  Once you taste this fall treat, you’ll understand why this is on the must-do list:

Yes, that is the Pumpkin Pie Concrete from Andy’s Frozen Custard.  You are looking at pure goodness.  Right there blended up in that yummy custard is an ENTIRE piece of pumpkin pie.  I’m not joking.  It’s worth skipping dinner and heading straight for dessert!

3)  FALL COLORS! The Ozarks has some of the most beautiful fall color in the country. Check out one of these “Best Fall Scenic Overlooks in Branson” to see the beauty at its best!

4)  SILVER DOLLAR CITY!  Really, what’s not to love about Silver Dollar City in the fall?  The weather is gorgeous, the food is delicious, the rides are fun.  Until October 31st, you can experience the National Harvest and Cowboy Festival. Be sure to check out the Wild West Show, which is back by popular demand!

Over 125 Visiting Craftsmen during Silver Dollar City

5)  SHOWS! – There is a new show in town that is fantastic . . . Million Dollar Quartet, a Tony award-winning Broadway musical right here in Branson. I had the pleasure of seeing it this summer, and wow, the talent is amazing! The show is inspired by the true story of the night that Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins were in the same recording studio. Don’t miss it!

I hope you and yours will find time to come on down, up, or over to Branson to take advantage of all that is fall in the Ozarks!  Enjoy!
