Get Your Group On!

Look Over There . . . to Your Left!!
The Race is On!

Amy, a mom with the "inside track," and her daughters.

I’ve been thinking a lot about family fun.  I guess it’s because in the summer, we tend to have a lot of it!  My family of four certainly has lots of fun together, but there’s something extra special when we get out and have fun with a bigger group.

You may recall my earlier outing with a group of our friends and their families.  It’s pretty safe to say that we pretty much made fools of ourselves (well, some of us did) at the photo-op spot at Heavy Metal High Rise, but it was FUN!!  In fact, you may want to look back at that post.  Now, before you get too excited, I must let you know that in said post I exercised my right to self-censor which photos appeared on this blog for all the world to see (I know my friends are thanking me!).

So, you won’t see anything too crazy, but you WILL see some other great info on that post that you don’t want to miss, especially if you are planning a visit to Branson anytime soon.  And, I hope you are 🙂  Now, a couple of disclaimers before you go view that post.  First, the particular Go-Card special you’ll see there has expired, but you can still get a great deal on the Go-Card by buying online!  And second, the Silver Dollar City festival I mentioned has now changed to the fantastic Kids Fest (just didn’t want you to expect Bluegrass & BBQ at this time of the year!).

Anyway, back to group fun . . . I know that some of you are reading this and are thinking, This woman is crazy.  Big groups are a pain – you can never make everyone happy, etc, etc. Well, that may be true in some places, but NOT at The Track.  Honestly, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that The Track has something that everyone in your group can enjoy, even if it’s just watching the others have a great time.  How do I know this?

Well, a few years ago we had a family reunion in Branson.  You know you can picture it . . . 40+ of my fam descended on The Track in our matching t-shirts (no kidding).  Now, I am not at all saying that we are hard to please. But I will say that, like most families, we are a diverse bunch.  We have a wide range of ages and stages and (I wish I could think of another rhyming word) interests.  But for those few hours at The Track, it didn’t matter.  All of us had a blast!

So, the moral of the story is . . . GET YOUR GROUP ON!  Grab another family or two, your school or church group, or even your ENTIRE family (it really wasn’t so bad) and plan an outing at The Track.  And don’t worry, The Track offers group rates that will make you happy!  And if you still need convincing (or even if you don’t), check out this video to see all that The Track has to offer your group!

I can’t wait to see your group at The Track . . . don’t forget the matching t-shirts!
